What type of health insurance plans do you accept?

What if I don’t have insurance?

Doctor’s Medical Center knows the importance of your health and the added costs of being healthy, that’s why we offer competitive prices on all our services avoiding that your health becomes a financial problem.

What if I don’t have transportation?

Doctor’s Medical Center offers courtesy transportation for most insurances to and from doctors and specialty offices.

Can I be seen without an appointment?

Calling our office at the first sign of illness helps to ensure that you receive an appointment time sooner rather than later. Normally, we are able to schedule same-day appointments for those requiring immediate non – emergency care.

Can I communicate with my provider?

Yes, you can contact your personalized care team, by calling our main number, 305.685.5688. You can also register in our practice’s Patient Portal (myhealthrecord.com). By registering, you will be able to send direct messages to your physician regarding general questions and/or medication refills.

When to call 911 prior to calling my healthcare provider?

Call 911 if your emergency involves an illness that is currently or potentially life threatening. This is a serious, unexpected and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action. Individuals experiencing any life threatening symptoms should go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

What phone number can I call if I have an Insurance or Billing question?

Insurance or Billing questions can be directed to our office staff at 305.685.5688 EXT. 1090, weekdays from 8:30AM – 4:30PM.

Why is having a primary care physician so important?

Choosing a primary care doctor is a great way to maintain exceptional health throughout the course of your life. In addition to treating acute illnesses, your primary care physician can partner with you to meet your long term health goals and needs. Patient and Physician relationship can translate into continued health and enhanced quality of life.

Do I need a referral from my Primary Care Physician to see a specialist?

As your primary care physician and care taker, we prefer you come and see your primary care physician before seeing a specialist. Your physician will determine whether you need to be seen by a specialist due to your medical condition. If you need a referral or authorization, your doctor will coordinate with our internal referral staff members, based on your health plan requirements.
