Boniface Lamy is a Foreign Medical Graduate and is currently working as a Licensed Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. From October 1993 to September 2003, Mr. Lamy attended medical school in Haiti, his native country, where he earned a doctorate degree in medicine with a certification in OBGYN. He left Haiti and immigrated to the United States in 2007 to pursue his interest in Medicine. While he was studying to pass the US Medical Board Examination, he went to Florida International University in 2009 and attended a special program designed for Foreign Educated Physicians (FEP) who were not practicing medicine in the United States. This program offeredthe opportunity for foreign doctors to reemerge in the healthcare industry as nurse practitioners and/or educators. Mr.Lamy earned a Master’s Degree in Sciences of Nursing with a certification in a Family Nurse Practitioner. Mr. Lamy has a passion of care for his patients. In addition to English, he speaks Creole, French and understands Spanish. He is a member of the FIU Alumni association and a lifetime member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
