Carine Remy was born and raised in Haiti and had always been attracted to the medical field ever since she was a little girl. Her choice of profession has been greatly influenced by close family members and friends who have found comfort, pride and peace in helping people. The joy and satisfaction that they found in performing their duties further encouraged her to follow in their footsteps. She lived in Haiti most of her life and worked as a Medical Doctor in the Pediatrics field for more than twenty years in her native country. She earned her medical degree from Faculte de Medecine et de Pharmacy later attended her residency in Pediatric at the state University Hospital of Haiti and received a certificate of Pediatrician. The political turmoil that is plaguing Haiti has led many professionals to leave home and settle elsewhere mainly in the United States. Twelve years ago, she moved to Florida in pursuit of a better life. Relocating to the state has forced her to reexamine her career goals and identify which aspect of her profession is most fulfilling. She knew the answer all along and no matter where she would end up setting she would continue to do what is dearest to her, which is to provide support and care to those in needs of medical treatment.
