Dr. Elvis Massip’s ambition to become a Medical Doctor began at a young age, when his mother passed due to a medication side effect. In 2003, Dr. Massip graduated from “Higher Institute of Medical Sciences” in Villa Clara, Cuba. Upon graduation, he serviced a humanitarian mission out of the country and migrated to the United States. Once in the United States, he continued his medical career and completed his Family Medicine internship at Hospital Perea, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico in 2017. In 2018, he completed his residency at the Hospital Bella Vista in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

My passion, which is serving those patients’ medical problems have been the most rewarding aspect of being a doctor. I believe having a good doctor/ staff communication is the key to provide excellent patient care.”
