Dr. Franklin Llanes never thought he would become a doctor, since he was always interested in Aerospace Engineering. He graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Rocket Engineer, specialized in Chemical and Advance Nuclear Propulsion. He then went on to pursue a Master’s Degree at the New York Institute of Technology specializing in Business Administration and Statistical Methods. Suddenly, at the birth of his daughter, she suffered complications and underwent neurosurgery. He could not cope with his lack of knowledge in the medical field, during this difficult time and abruptly decided to start Medical school to have a broad spectrum of the human body. He went to Florida International University for his Pre-Medical Science Requirements. From there, he received his M.D. Degree at the Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia, British West Indies. Finally, he did his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Illinois. Since then, he has been successful in his Medical career, providing the best quality of service and exceptional bedside manners to all his patients. In addition, he is the Chief Medical Officer here at Doctor’s Medical Center, who is responsible for the performance of DMC physicians and other medical staff under his supervision.
