Magaly Castaneda is the Comptroller at Doctor’s Medical Center, a medical center assisting their patients to live healthier lives through health promotion, disease prevention and integrated patient – centered primary care. She has been with the company, since it originated in 1996 with only one center operating. She is responsible for supervising the quality of accounting and financial reporting of Doctor’s Medical Center. She acts as the head of accounting, oversees the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements. She was born and raised in Cuba, where she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. When she emigrated to the United States in the late 1980s, she completed a few courses at the University of Miami specializing in Accounting. Formerly in 1996, she also was the Human Resource Manager managing about 115 employees. On her free time, she enjoys to spend time with her family and friends.
